Confirmed [4763] Connecting server

    I had this connection issue too, and Ii figured out there are 2 reason its happening:

    1# between Wifi and 3G internet the device is switching forth and back. if you've started a fight e.g in wifi and meanwhile you switched to 3G
    it will cause this.
    2# my connection was unstable, e.g in the car the phone changing cells.
    3# in my car I had a poorer 3G connection than outside, the car itself is blocking a lot I guess.

    after since then I knew what causes this, I have no problem.
    so I think the problem is not with the server. Server availability is pretty good, the problem is rather in our devices/network.

    Fair enough. I always use my ipad on wifi, near the modem-thing.
    It shouldn’t be an issue...however...there does seem to be some kind of intermittent block between wifi and ipad (my desktop works fine).

    I’ll bear it in mind it’s my end.

    I came here hoping to find solutions to this problem but haven't seen one. I've been having connection issues for several months now. Sometimes it's just a failure to connect to Google Play Games (and I get the "Retry" screen), and sometimes it's problems contacting the server and the game just waits continually trying to contact the server. For every hour that I play, I spend about 20 minutes having connection issues. One thing I know it's NOT: it's not on my end.

    I have tried multiple Wi-Fi routers and have had the problem with all the routers.

    I have tried connecting to Wi-Fi nodes outside my home.

    I have tested my Internet connection and done speed tests and I'm generally getting anywhere from 50mbps - 120mbps throughput so I don't have a slow connection.

    The problem happens at all hours of the day from about 7sm - 11pm, so it's not linked to time of day.

    I don't have problems with any other games or applications on my device, including other games that use Google Play Services.

    I have tried rebooting my device, clearing the cache, and doing a number of other things to resolve or trace the issue.

    I have re-installed the game twice.

    In short, I have done everything I could think of to eliminate the device I play the game on, the equipment providing my Internet connection, and all other variables as suspects which leads me to one conclusion: it's the game or the game servers that has the problem.

    The problems got worse with the latest version of the game: 0.68.0 to the point where the game is almost unplayable.

    Some specifics:
    I am playing the game on an Android tablet, ACER B1-850, Android Version 5.1.
