Imperial Ship Rewards

I think is better to buy ships than shards directly. But as Mark said, you have a randomly variable on this. So, on low or mid lvls is probably a good idea to get shars (and chance to obtain other items, gold and upgrades), but not on high lvl because you can get repeated or any unwished ones...

So... when you do that.... cross your fingers and pray to the Kraken...

 

I seem to recall people reporting that ships started giving only needed shards. By needed I mean shards for those not already at 5s, not just the ones you are currently hoping to get.

Before Feb/March you used to get random excess shards for Regiments already at 5s, but several people reported that stopped.

 

Well.. good to know.. I will check the next time I buy a ship. I dont buy them many last.

 

Not that I buy Imperial Ships often (probably about every 3 seasons when I get enough diamonds), but I just bought one yesterday and I got shards for 7 units, all of which weren't maxed out yet (5 stars). <shrug>

 

Based on the wording in the Imperial Ship description, it sort of seems like you are able to get shards for regiments that you haven't already unlocked, is this true? I think remember reading somewhere else that you will only get shards from smuggler ship for regiments that have been unlocked, maybe this could also be clarified for me?

 

With the Imperial Ship you can also get shards for regiments that have not yet unlocked - at least back in the days when I still had regiments to unlock that had been the case. I’m not 100% sure if had been changed under Innogames management but I don’t think so.

 

I pretty sure that IS & SS only offer shards for regiments that are unlocked & discovered only.

 

Todays SS gave a necro shard which is not unlocket yet. Not sure about IS however.

 

Unless InnoGames has changed how SS gives out shard again, my understanding from my 2nd account is that SS will not gives out shard for regiment that is yet to be discovered. For example, I've enough shards to unlock GH & TPB but didn't do it and I still get their shards in SS & IS. Whereas, I didn't have enough shards to unlock DT so I never get his shards in SS or IS.

 

Necro-Anup not yet unlocked he's currently 1/10, as in this shard was the first I have collected.

But, we now know ships have shards for yet-to-be unlocked regs...

 

Ratticus rolled the dice: got 8 NAC shards. Had zero, and reg was (is) locked.

Otherwise, pretty mundane.

 

After closing in on 3 years of warlording, bought my 4th IS.

Not bad. My 'Bare Ass' IR is now 2*.

Do you really think that Imperial Ships are now better than before chances were changed?

 

I never bought any MF shards, none in the shires. Unlocked MF because i got all my MF shards over time from SS's.

Never bought an IS yet.

 

What are the odds???? Is it a bug or a possible exploit? It's a free SS reward btw

 

Yeah, Sorry about that ship. I have obtained some similar ships with 3 unsealed soul gem (really absurd, like your last ship). Since new changes on ship system, there are weird chances to get repeated objects. I don't like this new system at all. So I buy less smugglers ships than before, and don't buy merchant ones anymore (because not diamonds).

When you sell all the Prism, this may happen with a SS.

 

I like more the old Smuggler Ship chance system.
