Why do I get for the Nordvig Merchant shards i dont need. Especially for the independent one where I need JJ. Was different behaviour before.

With first two draw gave me 1. Why should i refill energy? Yes for shards. But in this pace i have to reroll with diamonds. Reroll give you perhaps unwanted. Wait refilling once energy not even enough for one shard.

The intention behind is clear.

Same question for the quest ships if you are maxed except JJ. Special treatment. For quests i have problems to held maxed players because they get nothing valuable on the ships but spend 15-30 minutes daily because they are team players.

The intention is behind clear. You get no diamonds for it from players.

Loot wagon JJ has remorses. Playing for the next 100 useless shards without challenge is not motivating. By the way i liked the time when your whole army was destroyed for a shard.

As Arioch mentioned do I get ANY shards for imperial ships. Because 1800 diamonds for nothing is too much risk if around that all rules have changed especially for JJ.

Even on market i didnt see JJ after the unwanted appearence before the event. Is this changing after event?

Intention is not as clear because you get diamonds.

Great strategy but a shoot in the own knee. Before that i was beaten by motivated newbies in pvp. Was hard but well earned. Now noone can break the bitting area for top3 pvp without beeing maxed for top5. because 200 is the new number (195 for 3s has no impact for top3). Have someone thought whats needed to get with a cold start there? You have to be very motivated.

I think this was an unwanted intention behind.

What is the overall strategy?

Making new items you can only upgrade on full moon when it snows on summer?

All your decisions have an impact. Sometimes not what you want.

Lets take jerrika. You need about 30000 diamonds plus 1mio gold to buy all items and upgrades if you start with nothing and want to have it on the first day. Can you compete with it against maxed player. The answer is no. So you have to be five times overmotivated. The same thing with pvp. Does a diamond reroll garantuee a higher amount of throphies. I have rerolled a 3s four time to get to same trophy place. Rerolling 198 for 199 just stupid Strategy for overmotivated players only. Sorry its now 200 and most do not have it. Spending 10k diamonds to get 7th. Lol

Perhaps think about it. I personally be even happy with sometimes top10. For top3 i estimate greater than 10k diamonds now only possible if maxed.

By the way. I never will beat for top3. Even its easy for me. What is if two or eleven have the same trophy amounts. Get the last one the same as top100?

What would be to give on pvp champion shards? 50/30/25/10/5/2

I saw it for what it was when released, still I spent ALL my hard earned diamonds to get JJ shards. To max jj after event you will be able to buy a few shards every 5 days in Nordvigs. It will be a long and painful journey.

Dear Innogames, do release champion regiments in this pay to advance way again in the future, but mix in a few new regiments in the old ways too. I mean getting shards in a new map region/boss region. Point being that shards for that regiment appear as weekly ship reward, in loot wagon and in all 3 merchants. Please...? And also, give 6* and 7* regiments a serious thought. Income for you, and something to fight for, for us maxed players and eventually all players....

I think after Dec 15th when the event ends, they will do a quick analysis of the amount people spent on Jerrika. If they like the results, we will see more of these soon.

I don’t have a problem with people who are willing to pay being able to open/promote the unit faster.

It used to be shards were absolutely the hardest thing to get and promoting units from 4 to 5 star would take 30 to 60 days of dedicated LW farming. Ships were random and often gave shards you didn’t need (already 5 star).

The Ships were changed to give only needed shards, WH was giving 8 guaranteed shards a day and Alliance Quests add 30 needed shards. Even LW gives almost all shards.

In my opinion - and I realize I am probably in the minority - shards are way to EASY to get now. I don’t mind a 60 day slog to get something you really want to earn.

I agree only 4 or 5 every 5 days from Nordvig Merchant is likely too little, but adding them everywhere is too easy in my opinion. Those who were willing to spend real money to get her to five star should have some reward and advantage for what they did (and I say that realizing I will be stuck at 3 star for many months).

Even just adding her into the random Alliance Quest or Merchant Pool (not guaranteed slots) would give a little better progress and a reason to get a little excited as you open those random prize opportunities.

Short version - I know, already too late - I like the fact those who spent get some advantage that will last a while. Even if I am not one of them. The rest of us just have to work harder to catch up. My level 20 Jerrika agrees with me because I won’t use potions to promote her (and I have plenty of those).

I will probably buy her halfway to 4s and wait for the rest in Nordvig. That way I can see the end in about 2 months where she will reach 4s and she can be of some use with fully upgraded gear.
5s will simply be something worth the wait. And who knows what changes will be made a half year from now.
In my opinion a dedicated free player should be able to max a unit in 3 months, thats seems a reasonable amount of time that paying players would benefit from the instant joy.

We already have 24 regiments, mostly of them completely
unused. There is no need for an useless 25. regiment. And
now you complain that it last much to long to bring an
useless regiment to 5*? Seems Innogames is very good in
stopping people to continue to complain about the real
problems of the game by introducing marginal other problems,
which distracts players from the real ones.

And then the strange idea of 6* regiments. There never
was a reason to promote any regiment above 3*, anything
higher just gives you disadvantages. As long as there is
no game content which requires high level regiments, you
better stay at 3*. The name of this game is still "Warlords
of Aternum". Innogames should have renamed the game to
"The Settlers of Aternum" when they took over the game.
And with your suggestion of 6* regiments you even support
this direction in game development.

If you had been smart and not promoted your regiments
above 3*, then it also wouldn't be a problem to bring
the new regiment to the same level as the other regiments
and therefore make it immediately usable in fights.

Well, players want something to do with their thousands of excess shards. So 6* and 7* would remedy that. And give some variety in pvp, pretty tired of facing the same regs every time in 199t battles.....

There used to be a very good reason to promote units to four and five star. In the original version, star level determined what type of gear you could use. Four star allowed the use of Legendary Gear and five star was required for using Mythical Gear. And which gear you use makes a huge difference.

This changed when Warlord levels were introduced and gear became tied to a units experience level rather than star level. Now a 1 star unit can use Mythical Gear. Star level is a much less meaningful factor now, but this wasn’t always the case.

And I told them, that this was a very bad idea immediately
after they did the changes. This and the Warlord Level
were the first steps in destroying the game. This
happens when people, who never played the game, can
make such decisions.

That's wrong. With 3* regiments you can extremely
modify your strength by gear swap. That's not
possible to the same extend with 5* regiments.
With 3* regiments at level 23 even the 5th fight
in the Pirate Cove is trivial, not to mention
the 10 PvP fights.

Yup, Mr "_____" is back. He never promoted any reg above 3*. Then he gearswaps to get easier fights, as he does not care about placing in pvp season. He could definitely promote ALL regs to 5* and max them out in an instant. Instead he hoards truckloads of gold, shards, gear and diamonds.

What are his goals in WoA?
1. Log in and enjoy gearswapped super easy fights.
2. Get more and more hoarded stuff which he will never put to use.
3. Post about there not being an end game.
4. Post that diamonds are useless.
5. Post about how the game is gradually destroyed by Innogames.
6. Lurk around in forum and nowadays only post on special occasions ;)
