Pvp power and skulls

Which are the rules of match matching? I imagine that skulls depend on my armies..but all of them or only the first? But overall does the power of the invasors depend on the same rules or on different ones?
For explanation: it's normal that an invasor with 100 points of power can appear with 2 skulls than becomes 1 skull when I grow up.. but which is the rule for which my invasors has 100 points of power instead of 30 or 1000?
Thanks

Hi @Shin.

Battle match up are based on your top 5 regiments army power (aka T5AP). The exception to this is Brigand Island. The strength of GH, GG and the rest in Boss Battles are not scale as well but their accompanying regiments are.

PvP works slightly differently. The match up is based on T5AP. The Skull Rating is based on the relative strength of T5AP. The trophy count is based on the absolute power of AI T8AP. The line up in AI army is chosen from top 8 regiments as far as we can tell. This is why you can get a range of TC in a Skull Rating. For example, TC for 3S at endgame is range from 191 to 194.

Hope this help.

Good.
So is it better to develop only 5 armies o is it uninfluent because the other armies don't participate to the power of my invasors?

Ps.GH GG TC stand for..?

GH is Grubak Horde, GG is Gorzura Gunners & TC is trophy count. The acronyms are usually the first letter of name or term.

Developing 5 regiments may be a quick way to get to Rank 23 but it's not an optimal way to enjoy WoA. If you want variety in battles then more regiments will give your more options. Furthermore, if one of your top 5 is out of action then you may nor be able to continue battling because of no replacement regiment.

My advice to newbies is usually 8 regiments army combo. One regiment from each class and 3 more to complement your battle style or tactics.

Good luck.

Thank you! Sorry but I m playing the Italian version of the game and translations are very different from the original so that the acronyms are totally impossible to be translated both for the armies and the places.
Thanks
